Government Grants for Energy Efficient Upgrades – you can get up to $2,500 BC geothermal rebates

If you are a homeowner who makes energy efficient upgrades to your home, you may be eligible for provincial and federal incentives (ecoENERGY Retrofit Program) and PST exemptions through the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources.

A certified energy advisor with the LiveSmart BC: Efficiency Incentive Program will perform an energy assessment of your home and recommend cost-effective options for reducing energy use in your home. Energy efficient improvements must be made within 18 months of the assessment. Eligible improvements include ground source heat pumps.
